Project 9 is now available. This project is a singe page design suitable for a personal portfolio or CV. For someone who wants to make a statement with a current design CV then this is a powerful looking quick solution.
There are 2 versions of the Project - one for Foundry and one for Foundation.
This project uses SectionsPro and ProStyles from BWD. These are 2 really clever and powerful stacks that everyone should learn how to use. The Project shows how to setup ProStyles to:
1. Setup multiple background images with blend effects. There are 5 included with project, and one setting changes the Hero BG to help chose the image for this important part of the site.
2. ProStyles is used to control the proportional padding between all Sections, so by altering one setting you can adjust the entire Sections padding in the whole page.
3. Build background effects such as the pseudo parallax effect of the bubble background. Again proStyles makes this easy to switch between different configurations.
Also there is a Timeline display that can be edited and scaled and as it is text based, the information is searchable. Usually these type of timeline displays are images. The Timeline display layout is supplied in a light and also a dark set of images.
With this Project, you can also learn how to achieve the overlapping of content. The Initial Hero page has an image of the girl overlapping a dark grey box which overlaps the main image. SectionsPro makes this a breeze.

Project7 for Foundry is now available now from http://webdeersign.com/projects
P7 includes straight Foundry versions of the 3 main pages found in the original Foundation SectionsPro P7 version. However, it also includes a 4th page which is 100% Foundry. The original idea was to see how far the Project could be built, using nothing except the standard Foundry stacks, was quickly developed into a 100% Foundry version. I still find it pretty amazing that Foundry contains the building blocks to achieve this type of layout. Demo page at http://webdeersign.com/pr7demo2/demo4/ .
The project is a front end that matches the style and layout of the 2 most popular professional photographer photo systems - PixieSet & ShootProof. It provides links into either of those systems, that clients will find seamless. However, the amazing thing is that PixieSet allows up to 1500 images in the free version and you will not find a more elegant CMS Gallery, shopping cart, email campaign, solution anywhere. It is not possible to build such a total solution in RW, yet you can use PixieSet for free for up to 1500 images.
Whether you use the photo system or not, Project 7 shows how to create some sophisticated layouts that can be challenging to design yet easy to use once you see them in the Project file.
If you already have P7 and use Foundry, just login to your Paddle Account and download the new version.

I am very pleased to announce our first Project available for Foundry (from Elixir). This version is added in addition to the original Foundation version in Project8 and is available for purchase now. Think of it as a Forkin Great Buy One Get One Free. Obviously, to use the Foundry version, you need Foundry.
This isn't just a swap out of like for like stacks version, and because of the differences between the two frameworks, Project8 has been significantly rewritten specifically for Foundry.
Taking advantage of the extra features in Foundry, this version uses the Cards, Card Deck, Nav Overlay, Progress Bars, Labels, Icon font, Social Badges and Button Bar. I think the Nav Overlay is a really impressive way to implement a full page menu - all with standard Foundry features.

What started as an idea to use the new inStacks Poster stack for a RapidWeaver blog, turned into a whole project built around Poster. This is an ideal complete layout, or use to cherry pick for your designs, with a set of layouts for a wide variety of web site applications. The design is fresh, very current and has a number of tricky to achieve layouts, already built and tested.
The Project 8 Blog is perfect for those wanting to use RapidWeaver to edit and publish their blog. No password to remember or complicated setup or admin page needed or database required or complicated page links required. Just edit your Blog page in RapidWeaver and Publish.
Check out the Flick Thru feature that allows you to jump between Blog posts or Products or whatever you use.
Included in the Project 8 Notes is a 20% off coupon to use with inStacks Poster at the inStack site.
